Via il Bidone

Via il Bidone - Rimini

Between the port and Piazza Marvelli, on the seafront you'll find a numberof sidestreets, 26 in total, that have been renamed in honour of the films of Federico Fellini - the so-called Vie Felliniane.

A nice touch to the initiative, though, is that the original film posters have been placed on each street, making a stroll along Rimini's seafront can be a stroll through Film history.

This particular photo comes from Via 'il Bidone'. The Swindle or Swindler (Il Bidone was the 1955 film which followed Fellini's hugely succesful La Strada. It features Broderick Crawford, Richard Basehart and Giulietta Masina.
