Corso d’Augusto – a skyline

Looking up to Rimini’s Corso d’Augusto, from the Via Circonvallazione Occidentale. The campanile or bell tower is from the church of Santa Maria in Corte (also known as the Chiesa dei Servi), the impressively large Church towards the start of the Corso. It was first built in 1317, but the current church mainly dates to a reconstruction in the late 1700’s by the Bolognese architect Gaetano Stegani.
