Off the beaten track – the banks of the Marecchia

Where the Marecchia river meets the adriatic

There are fishing huts lining the Marecchia estuary banks, and as you gaze inland you can see up the Val Marecchia inland towards the charming hills that dot the Romagna landscape. It seems a world away from the glitz of the Marina Centro, or the medieval charm of the centro storico. A wild and natural space - though it has a good path for walking and cycling.
