Elisa headlining Notte Rosa in Rimini

Elisa, one of Italy’s best known singer-songwriters of the last ten years, is set to do a headline show for Rimini’s Notte Rosa, on the main stage in Piazzale Fellini.

Elisa Toffoli, born in 1977 in Trieste, released her first album Pipes et Flowers – released by the prestigious Italian label Sugar records. Since then she’s had more than eight albums, has won the San Remo Music festival (2001), and worked with seemingly everyone in Italian music ranging from Eros Ramazotti and Zucchero through to Luciano Ligabue and Negramaro’s Giuliano Sangiorgi. She’s duetted with Tina Turner, and Antony Hegarty (of Antony and the Johnsons), and if that wasn’t all enough, she’s contributed a track, with Ennio Morricone (who has also played the Notte Rosa in the past), to Quentin Tarantino’s epic Django Unchained (the track was Ancora Qui).

Elisa plays Rimini’s Piazzale Fellini on the 4th of July for the Notte Rosa
